2nd Expert Session on EU-India Relations ‘Exploring EU-India Cooperation in Digital Governance’
On Tuesday, June 2nd, 2023, the 2nd Expert Session on EU-India Relations ‘Exploring EU-India Cooperation in Digital Governance took place took place with the support of the European Union in the context of the EU Policy and Outreach Partnership (EUPOP) in India.
The event was opened by Dr. Giulia Tercovich, EUPOP Project Coordinator for Research Outreach. The event featured a panel discussion on EU-India Cooperation in Digital Governance moderated by Dr. Giulia Tercovich. The panelists included Mr. Alvis Ancans, International Relations Officer of DG Connect at the European Commission, and Dr. Rudra Chaudhuri, Director at Carnegie India. Both gave a comprehensive overview of the digital cooperation framework within EU-India relations, the outcomes from the first Ministerial meeting of the EU-India Trade and Technology Council that took place in May, and the opportunities and challenges associated with other venues of engagement for digital cooperation for both sides.
